Goodfellows Plain Pizza

Goodfellas is a takeout or sit in pizzeria place located in Fords, NJ. It’s a good place to pick up a slice or grab a pasta dish to go. This place is one of the better around for pizza, and the prices are good for anyone worried about breaking the bank. My visit here however was… eventful, to say the least. When ordering online there was a problem occurring with my order. I decided to call and turns out that my order was never received so I ordered over the telephone and ended up waiting over an hour to get my food delivered. I don’t know if this is an isolated incident or not, so just be wary when ordering from here that the service may not be up to par.

Pros: Good Flavor, Good Crust Texture

Cons: Could have used a bit more cheese

This time I was feeling lazy and decided to get a classic plane pie delivered to the house. The flavor of the pizza was good, above average for a normal mom and pop place. The sauce was flavorful and the pie was lightly seasoned. That slight seasoning helped bring out the flavor of the pie, giving it a bit more of a complex flavor. Ultimately the pizza was good, however, due to the long delivery time the pizza was on the colder side which negatively affected the overall flavor and texture of the pizza.
