16 W 36th St, New York, NY 10018

Clinton Hall in NYC is a modern beer hall and beer garden that features a wide selection of beers on tap and pub-style food. This place has been the winner of Food Network’s Food & Wine Festival at Burger Bash and has been voted best burger in NYC. I don’t eat burgers so I can’t exactly comment on that, but they do look good. Clinton Hall has a few locations but this one on 36th street is the newest. This location also happens to be very convenient for anyone that takes the train to the city because its only about an 11-minute walk from MSG and New York Penn Station. This is a place that I would recommend to check out. I would love to take another trip here in the near future to try out more beer and more food. I was very satisfied with this place and seems like a cool spot to chill out for a bit especially later on in the night.
Review
Founders Oatmeal Stout Nitro (Left)
Price: $8.00
The first beer that piqued my interest on the menu was the Founders Oatmeal Stout (Nitro). This is a dark beer that really tastes like oats. The oat flavor gives this beer a unique taste not like many others. This beer is on the bitter side and along with the oat flavor, you can detect undertones of deep rich dark chocolate flavor. It was a good beer for anyone that enjoys a more bitter darker beer.
Schöfferhofer Grapefruit (Right) :
Price: $8.00
The next beer that I tried on the menu was the Schöfferhofer Grapefruit. This is a grapefruit beer and you can tell the second you drink it. This is a cloudy orange color beer and is very citrusy. This is definitely a sweeter beer but I don’t find it to be too much. However, I probably would only drink one of these at a time. I think that if I were to drink multiple in one sitting it would be a bit overbearing.
